I have never put up a special wreath for Eid but this year as I spent more time at home during this quarantine, I found myself being more creative than ever in terms of finding different ways to decorate for the occasion with things I already have in the house. This wreath was a very last minute addition but I love how it turned out and love how it’s such an amazing way of informing my neighbours of my religious holiday. You bet this will be a new tradition from now on.
Thing required for this DIY:
- An old wreath of any kind
- A decorative chalkboard
- A chalk
- A wreath hanger
Aaaand honestly that is ALL you need, I know super basic. I’m super basic when it comes to crafts or DIY because I’m too lazy, also too busy and/or scared to take on projects that are too complicated.
Now all I did is hung the wreath on the hanger and wrotr HAPPY EID with a chalk on the decorative chalkboard and then hung it over my wreath.
I didn’t have a bigger wreath but if you have one then place the chalkboard inside the wreath which will look even better. You can also use any type of decorative piece that has writing on it i.e. a wooden sign board with Eid Mubarak or Ramadan Mubarak written on it.

Hope you guys liked this easy DIY, don’t forget to leave me a comment below. Until next time!
